Hey -- while reviewing your submissions for the thermochemistry prelab I
found an error in the equation. Apparently in the second part of the
lab a factor of 1/2 got dropped.

The correct way to calculate the enthalpy for the reaction is

factor = molar mass of NaOH / mass of NaOH added

enthalpy = -((mass of diluted HCl solution in grams + grams of NaOH
added) * 4.02 J/(degree gram) * temp change ) * factor

Don't worry -- I will correct the point total for that one. Just make
sure you do it correctly for you lab report.
