You should definitely read through the text and use it in tandem with my 
notes and lecture slides.  In lecture I am often trying to give you big 
picture ideas and then when we work problems I try to hone in on 
specifics.   The book will, in most cases, take you deeper.  Use it as a 
resource.

The lab you did today will be due next Tuesday.   I have not yet set a 
due date for the lab we will be doing tomorrow.
