<font face="serif">The lecture slides for chapter 2 are now on the
class website for those that want to download them. In chapter 2
we also hit the concept of polyatomic ions. I know that when I
was your age I had to memorize these so I could quickly recognize
them on tests and quizzes. <br>

Please take a look at table 2.9 in your book (page 62) and try to
commit these to memory. Flash cards might be helpful here. I
will not quiz you on them until NEXT week, but I encourage you to
start learning them now.<br>
