I normally do not describe the specific topics to be covered on
an exam -- after all, this is College. However, there is a lot
of information on the test tomorrow so let me try to help out
some.

periodic trends from chapter 7 (radius, ionization energy,
electron affinity, etc.)

electron configurations for elements and ions

classification of elements on table (metal, non-metal, etc)

types of bonding covalent/ionic

bond enthalpy calculations (but no lattice energy or
Born-Haber cycle)

Lewis dot diagrams

Molecular shapes (VSEPR)

Bond dipoles and polarity

Formal charge

Valence bond theory/hybridization

MO Theory

Bond order

The above is not an exhaustive list of the topics on the test,
but is should go a long way in helping you prepare.

I will not entertain any more questions related to test content.
