the lab procedures. This link is found in the LAB section.</font></p>
<p><font face="serif">Please review the SAFETY POLICY, USING AN
ANALYTICAL BALANCE, and USING A BURETTE.</font></p>
<p><font face="serif">Then carefully review the lab description for
LAB 1. I will describe in class tomorrow how we will "split"
this into two labs done on the same day.</font></p>
<p><font face="serif">Before lab on Wednesday you need to write
enough of the lab procedure into your notebooks so that you can
complete the lab. This does not necessarily mean that you copy
the entire procedure into your lab notebook, but rather you copy
directions to help you get through the lab safely with the exact
type and amount of data you need to complete the lab report.</font></p>
<p><font face="serif">For the first lab you probably want to have a
data tables like the one shown in Example Table 1. In the
second part of the lab (which we will call Lab 1B, you will
probably want a table like the one shown in Example Data Table
2.</font></p>
