    <p><span style="font-size:11.0pt">I found out Thursay that the

        scanning app many of the Chemistry faculty recommend to students

        (CamScanner) for turning notebook pages into PDF was found to

        have malware in it.  Some good alternatives (and hopefully more

        trustworthy ones) are Adobe Scan and Office Lens (by

        Microsoft).  Both of these are free as well.</span></p>
