<p><font face="serif">Students -- You will need the following for
this summer.</font></p>
<p><font face="serif"><br>
</font></p>
<p><font face="serif">1. A version of the textbook (either Burdge
4th or 5th edition). This can be either looseleaf or bound.
(available at the Bookstore)<br>
</font></p>
<p><font face="serif">2. Safety Glasses (available at the
Bookstore)<br>
</font></p>
<p><font face="serif">3. A Lab notebook (available at the
Bookstore)</font></p>
<p><font face="serif">4. A scientific calculator (must be able to
do scientific notation, logs, roots, etc.) If you don't have a
calculator please let me know and I will make a recommendation
for what will work for both CHM 111/112. <br>
</font></p>
<p><font face="serif">All of these are available at the Bookstore
BUT please note...</font></p>
<p><font face="serif"><b>You will NOT need a SAPLING online home
key. </b> <br>
</font></p>
<p><font face="serif">I am not using Sapling this summer. We will
discuss homework on the first day of class.</font></p>
<p><font face="serif">Also, you do not have to purchase a lab
notebook with carbonless pages. I recommend something like the
following:</font></p>
<p><font face="serif"><a moz-do-not-send="true"
href="https://www.amazon.com/Scientific-Notebook-Company-Student-O64P/dp/098451631X/ref=sr_1_7?dchild=1&keywords=research+notebook&qid=1621533017&sr=8-7">Lab
Notebook from Amazon</a><br>
</font></p>
<p><font face="serif">You will need to have your lab notebooks
"prepared" for the first day or lab in less than a week so - so
I would go ahead and order it.</font></p>
<p><font face="serif"> <br>
