Students -- at some point in the next week (it may have already
happened) you will be asked to do a course evaluation on my version of
CHM 112. Please do not take this lightly. I and the other professors
use this information to help us improve our classes. Of particular
interest to me this semester is how you would "grade" my use of
PowerPoint like presentations -- that was a new thing for me this
semester. Typically my lectures are all "at the board" -- but this time
I tried to use more PowerPoint style lecture and only resorted to the
board when working out problems in class. Many of the lectures,
especially the early ones on kinetics and equilibrium, involved me
building custom programs, simulations, and visualizations that had to
then be put into my presentation program. I need to know if you found
these helpful.

You saw both types of lecture (electrochemistry was all board work)
everything else was mainly PowerPoint style -- so please comment on this
when you do the course evaluations.

Also of interest to me is how helpful you found the worked Burdge
problems and additional problems (also worked) on the website as exam
prep. I have got to evaluate if I am going to keep building this sort
of content or resort to something like an online homework
submission/grading system. Your honest thoughts of this content, as
well as the rest of the website, as it pertains to your success in
preparing for tests will be very helpful.

There is absolutely no way I can tie course comments to individuals --
so your comments (good or bad) will have no affect on your final grade.
I just need an honest assessment to help me make the course better.

Thanks!
