First: this is a reminder about the prelab that is due by Monday at 2:00
pm... it's a little more involved than the last one and will require
you to thoroughly read the lab procedures to even attempt some of the
questions. As always, let me know if you have questions.

Second: as you are preparing for lab this week you will probably want to
do FOUR titrations for each of the lab sections. One quick titration
and then three more accurate titrations for the standardization followed
by one quick titration and then three more accurate titrations for the
antacid. For those that like to write all this in their lab notebook
ahead of time I am just trying to give you a "heads up".

Third: you lab report this week will be composed of a Generalize Lab
Report cover page (which you print off from the class website) your
report form from the lab, and the copies from your lab notebook. All of
these items need to be STAPLED together before you come to lab. No
STAPLE and it will not be accepted. In the big box on the Generalized
Lab Report Form cover page please place
(1) the number of your unknown compound, (2) the experimentally
determined molar mass of your unknown compound and (3) your elemental
analysis work to determine the molecular formula of the unknown
compound. Please do this neatly. If I can't read it I will return it
to you (with a late penalty assessed). Lab reports are due AT THE
BEGINNING of lab.
