On quizzes I will generally expect you know (have memorized) "basic 
equations".  For example, on the quiz tomorrow I would expect you to 
know how to calculate the value of a state function (like $\Delta H$) using


$\Delta H_{\mathrm RXN} = \sum_i^{\mathrm{Products}} n_i \Delta 
H_i^{\circ} - \sum_j^{\mathrm{Reactants}} n_j \Delta H_j^{\circ}$

and

$\Delta G = \Delta H - T \Delta S$.


I also will expect you to know the ideal gas equation $PV=nRT$ and how 
to convert between mmHg, Torr, Celsius, and Kelvin.   Tomorrow I will 
provide you with the value of any constants.


Now, on a test you will have a BIG equation sheet as a cover page. I 
will show you an example of one of these in class tomorrow.
