I have extended the deadline for the kinetics homeworks. We will finish
kinetics next week. The next exam is set for the 18th and will ONLY
COVER KINETICS. This is by design -- there is so much new material that
you are learning and having to put it together with mathematical and
physical reasoning that I made this decision well before the semester
started.
With that being said, please start working the ALEKS problems and my
additional problems and ask questions when you have issues. If you are
just opening ALEKS alongside something like CHEGG, ChatGPT, or any of
the numerous AI engines then I can pretty much predict that you are
going to fail my remaining exams. You really need to be learning this
stuff as it is foundational knowledge that you need for other chemistry
and biochemistry classes. Definitely also use the FREE resources Mercer
is providing to you (SI, Academic Resource Center Tutors, etc.)
See you in class tomorrow.
