<p>Hey Dr. Pounds,</p>
<p>I was doing the additional problems for chapter 15 and 18. I
was working on number 3 and I used my solver to find x. You
got the value 2. 44. I keep getting 5.94. Can you help me
figure out what I am doing wrong.

<p>This is what I put into my calculator for the equation.</p>

<p>0=104-((2.00+x)(1.00+3x))/((6.50-x)(8.50-x))</p>
<p>My x was set to 0 and then my bounds were {0,6,50}</p>
<p>I clicked alpha enter. I still am not getting the correct
answer.</p>
