    <p>Most (not all) of the class had problems with yesterday's quiz.  

      I had intended it to be an "easy" quiz to help boost grades.  Many

      of you got ahead of yourselves and tried to mix in a strong acid

      or base for the first two problems when that was not required at

      all.</p>

    <p>Anyway, my plan tomorrow is to go over the quiz in detail, work

      another buffer type problem, and then let you take a similar (not

      identical) quiz again.  I will use the highest grade from the quiz

      yesterday and the quiz tomorrow for your Quiz 9 grade.</p>
