So I looked over most of the papers from this morning. Of all the ones
I looked at there were none that were "perfect" -- in fact the best
grade I saw was in the B range.
I know that there was a lot of material to cover in the three chapters.
While a lot of the material should have been familiar to you, especially
if you had AP or IB chemistry, I know that there was some material that
was new to you. Several of you also told me that you were having
difficulty determining what to study. You have now seen the test and
have a much better grasp on what I consider the most important concepts
from these chapters.
I believe in REDEMPTION - especially in cases where I know people are
working. I am therefore shredding your exams and we will have another
similar, but not necessarily identical, redemption exam on Friday of
this week. The grade for the exam on Friday will go into my records.
We will have to start thermodynamics tomorrow, but I will try and give
you some pointers to help you prepare for the "redemption exam".
That is all...
