Class -- I was notified by the stockroom that we do not have enough
bunsen burners available this week to have each of you to do lab 2
(the Alum lab) independently. We will therefore be working as
partners again this week to synthesize the Alum. <br>
<br>
Each <small><b><big><big>PAIR</big></big></b></small> of students
needs to supply one aluminum can for the lab.<br>
<br>
During the Alum lab period you will also be making the sodium
hydroxide solution for use in next week's lab. <b>EACH</b> student
needs to make <b>their own</b> sodium hydroxide solution and place
it in a labelled brown bottle.<br>
<br>
One benefit of working in pairs is that it should make the lab go a
little faster for those of you who want to get some tailgating in
before the game.<br>
