Some of you have had some issues running my Java applets. In almost
all cases this is due to a Java security issue.<br>

To resolve this problem go to your JAVA Configuration Pane (should
be on the startup menu). If you are using Windows 8 move your mouse
to the bottom left of the screen and type "java configuration". You
should see a window open with options. Select "Java Configuration"
Add a security exception for<br>

It will complain, but go ahead and accept it as you know theochem
belongs to me. The try to start the average deviation applet
again. You should get a different error this time asking you if you
want to accept the exception. Again, it's theochem, and you know
the person the owns it -- so you are okay to accept the exception.

This should fix the problem with all browsers. Please experiment
with to tool. It requires you to hit the enter key after you type
in each number and it does not use significant figures. It is a
great way to figure out which trials you can neglect.<br>

Now, since some of you have had difficulties, and I am requiring you
to use your precision to determine which readings to throw away, <b>you
may wait until Friday morning to turn in the lab</b>. <br>
<br>
I expect you to turn in <b>TWO separate labs</b>. Two report forms
and two data sheets. I will not be collecting notebook pages this
time. <br>
