Sorry, but I have a question about the lab now. In class
you talked about finding the concentration of B4O5(OH)4 2- and
wrote out the equations. Once we figure out how many moles of
HCl we used for the titration, is that equal to the moles of
B4O5(OH)4 2-, or do we have to divide it by two because of the
stoichiometric ratio between H+ and B4O5(OH)4 2- in the second
equation?

Hi Dr. Pounds!
For question 2 on the quiz, are 500 ml being added to
the one liter volume and 10 grams of NaOH in first
problem? It doesn't say an additional 500 ml of NaOH
is added so I wasn't sure.
Thanks!
