<p>In lab this week you will be doing the
calorimetry/thermochemistry experiment. The lab procedure calls
for you to do one experiment with ammonium chloride. It is called
"Reaction 1" in the lab procedure. We are not going to do that
part of the experiment, so don't worry about writing that section
into your lab notebook.</p>
<p>We will be doing reactions 2, 3, and 4 because they demonstrate
an important concept in thermodynamics - Hess's law.</p>
<p>I also put another video online to demonstrate how the lab is
done. PLEASE watch this video before you start preparing your lab
notebooks for lab.</p>
