<p>Basically in part (a) you had to compute the molar mass of
nitroglycerine (using the provided periodic table) and divide the
mass by the molar mass to find the number of moles of
nitroglycerine. The molar mass on nitroglycerine is 227
grams/mol. </p>
<p>908/227 = 4 moles of nitoglycerine.</p>
<p>Now -- if you look at the chemical equation, 4 moles of
nitroglycerine makes 12 moles of CO2, 10 moles of H2O, 6 moles of
N2 and1 mole of O2. Adding up the moles of gas you get 29 moles.</p>
<p>Use that number in the idea gas law for part (b)<br>

<p>The mass with the smallest molar mass (water) will be moving the
fastest.</p>
