Students -- as a reminder, they syllabus shows that your first test is
scheduled for a week from this coming Wednesday. Due to some
registration problems, a few of you are just now getting started with
the Mastering work. For that reason I would like to push that test back
to the following Monday (*February 7th*). The first test will be over
Chapters 2, 3, and 4 and that will give us sufficient time to get
through that material.
The due date for HW 2 and HW 3 is February 1 -- so if you are one of
those that has been waiting to get started, now is the time. I need to
make some adjustments to HW 4, but once I do that I will get that posted
and it will be due the night before the exam.
I've answered numerous homework questions this weekend -- but many of
the questions could have been easily resolved if the examples in the
text had been consulted first. I'm not trying to dissuade you from
asking questions -- but you will save yourself a lot of time if you will
consult the book and the examples found therein. Please keep the
questions coming if you are stuck!
See you in the morning...
