Look back at the last equation in the first set of lecture notes I
handed out. It told you how to calculate the fraction of molecules in a
given state. You have to generalize these to account for rotational
energy levels (problems 16.E and 16.F) particle in a box energy levels
(my problem 2) and vibrational levels (my problem 3).
The graphical solution to 16.E is posted online. The handworked
solution to my problem 2 is also posted. I did not post solutions to
16.F and problem 3 because, as you noted, they are similar.
