We will be meeting in the Thunderdome on Friday morning. We will start
our discussion on the "selection rules" for electronic spectroscopy,
rationalize how to make a Laser since population inversion violates
Einstein's rules about such, and also look at the SHODOR exercise on
calculating electronic transitions.

On Monday I will return the homework you submitted last week and also
talk briefly about rotational-vibrational spectroscopy, Raman spectra.
Since the exam is not until Thursday night, you can have until Tuesday
at 5 pm to turn in your homework and SHODOR packets.
