Over the break Mercer IT was gracious enough to grant my request to
update Mathematica to the most recent version (version 11) on both the
desktop and thin clients in the Thunderdome. I just updated it on
"dock" (the unix system in the corner) for those of you that have access
rights to it.

When you get a chance start familiarizing yourself with it. There in a
link to a series of video tutorials available on the class website
(http://theochem.mercer.edu/chm331) in the REFERENCE section. The
tutorials are for version 10, but all of the information should
translate to version 11.

You definitely want to go through the first four ASAP your ease your
introduction to Mathematica and to make your life easier when it comes
to doing the homework.

Please let me know if Mathematica asks you for any sort of registrations
or verification code. This should have already been handled, but we
definitely want to get this sort of thing straightened out before you
absolutely NEED Mathematica.
