Try this.  Get into Mathematica, go to help and open the "Documentation 
Center".  In the search bar in the Documentation Center enter "solving 
linear equations".

One link that comes up (probably the first on the page) will be on 
solving linear systems of equations.  You will find several examples 
there.  Note that in the first example they use variables "a" and "b" 
where in your problem you have actual numeric values.

Please note that Mathematica uses a "." (like a dot product) for matrix 
multiplication.

You can also solve linear systems using the Solve[] function.  You will 
see that on some of your upcoming quantum homework!
