Good morning folks --

I noticed today that only seven of you have logged into MyITLab and
taken the pre-test. It is really important that you take the pre-test
because it will not only provide me with a baseline on your knowledge
of the material before taking the course -- but more importantly to you
it will help expose any problems with your computer setup and the
MyITLab testing process. These are things we need to get straightened
out NOW rather than the night your first graded assignments are due.

I encourage you to do two quick things before starting the prelab....

Complete the "System and Browser Requirements" located on the
MyITLab login page

Complete the "MyITLab Installation Wizard"

Doing both of these before the pretest will help guarantee that your
system and browser are configured correctly.

Because some of you are still waiting for you keys, and because Monday
is a federal holiday and no mail will be delivered, I moved the due
dates for the pre-test and for the MyITLab installation wizard to
Wednesday (June 2). Get this done and start knocking out the first
MyITLab and BlackBoard assignments on Microsoft Word.
