[CSC 204] Upcoming Topics in CSC204

Now that we have finished the bulk of the material for the course we can 
start to focus in on a few special topics that will not only help you as 
you use computers and demonstrate their power -- they will also help you 
complete your final two programming assignments!

These are all found in the BIG JAVA book.  Please try to look them 
over.  The lab next week will be on sorting algorithms so I will cover 
that in class on Wednesday of next week.

Chapter 11 -- section 1 -- Reading and Writing Text Files (needed for 
programming assignment 5 and 6)
Chapter 13 -- section 1-4 -- Recursion  (we will not spend a lot of time 
with this, but you need to understand the basic concept)
Chapter 14 -- section 1-8 -- Sorting and Searching (this will be REALLY 
useful for programming assignment 5)
