On another note, I noticed that the paper says that only one of the "hands" can return true. Is this an actual requirement or a reminder to make sure that you don't get the points for several different hands? My method involves going down through the list starting at the most points and going down using 'if else', so is it ok if the other boolean methods just never get checked? (is not getting checked the same thing as not returning true?)

Because I was out yesterday and today, I am going to extend the deadline
for BunkoPoker to FRIDAY MARCH 26th at 11:59 pm.

Regarding your other question -- this is an actual requirement. You if
you have two of a kind and three of a kind in the same hand, you should
ONLY get credit for the Full House. The if-elseif-else structure is
definitely a good option in this case.
