Yes -- for this first set or programs you are doing manual scan-line 
conversion -- so GL_POINTS "be your friend".  Later on we will utilize 
some of the other things (lines, triangles, nurbs, etc)

As far as prog4 goes, the best thing is to use GL_POINTS at this stage 
of the game -- just use enough points so your functions look continuous  
-- and not like a bunch of dots on the screen.
