This is what I followed to install the virtual machine:
1. Download and install Virtualbox
fromhttps://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads
<https://nam10.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.virtualbox.org%2Fwiki%2FDownloads&data=02%7C01%7C%7C1a21c076e52846a06a5608d85191f223%7C84df9e7fe9f640afb435aaaaaaaaaaaa%7C1%7C0%7C637349034550829694&sdata=UkxoMi6jTdqIVFAfAOvKDLnUkj4niGvLjjlgTluCoN8%3D&reserved=0>,
click on the Windows hosts to get that version, when it gets done
downloading install.
1. It may prompt about install some drivers to your machine and
just click yes to trust them
2. You can follow steps outlined here, not the latest version of
Ubuntu, but the process is the
same.https://itsfoss.com/install-linux-in-virtualbox/
<https://nam10.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fitsfoss.com%2Finstall-linux-in-virtualbox%2F&data=02%7C01%7C%7C1a21c076e52846a06a5608d85191f223%7C84df9e7fe9f640afb435aaaaaaaaaaaa%7C1%7C0%7C637349034550839692&sdata=Z%2BtYKrRcz%2Bnz9LXH7L6Gw0fR0AREtMzizq0tpwu4h4Y%3D&reserved=0>
3. Note: if you decide later that you want to add more RAM to your
virtual machine, after you have already created it, it's possible to
add more RAM.
