<p><font face="serif">There's nothing like a due date to bring out
the "problems". I have received a few requests for extensions
based on (1) network problems, (2) car problems, and (3) laptop
problems. Since I had originally scheduled the test to be
BEFORE the programming assignment was due date, I will keep it
that way. Your test is TUESDAY of this week (and you should
prepare for that) but we will move the due date for your first
programming assignment to THURSDAY at midnight. <br>

<p><font face="serif">Many of you are making good progress and are
actually working on intersections and tesselations. Some of you
are still struggling with how to get points into an array or a
linked list. And then there are those that are still going,
"What's a makefile?" and "Git what?" I'll help as I can with
any and all questions -- but I can only help if you ask. <br>

<p><font face="serif">Back when I was a lifeguard it was drilled
into me that I could be held legally responsible only for those
swimmers that I could see. The lifeguard team worked
painstakingly to keep the area around the pool clear of obstructions
and positioned the lifeguard towers near the diving wells so we
could see all the way to the bottom. Most drownings that occur
in public pools occur when people are in over their head and
have somehow gotten out of view or earshot of the lifeguard. If
you are in over your head please let me know so I can throw you
a rope.<br>

<p><font face="serif">That being said -- don't take the extension as
an opportunity to put off coding. Get it done and let me know
