So we have completed all of the content for
CSC 315 that I intended to get through during our COVID semester
- and as such I am allowing you to have the next two class
periods to work on your final assignment and homework. You do
not have to come to class this week unless you want to come and
use the computers in GSC 218. A few of you (and some
professors) have expressed concern over the increase in COVID-19
cases - so I am allowing you as much social distance space as
you feel you need.

The final will open on Friday around 9 am.
Each of you will have an individual repo that I have created for
you containing a README.md file, several source files, and a
makefile. The final will require you to sequentially move
through the directions in the README.md to make certain
modifications to achieve specific goals of what is displayed.
Some people will finish in under three hours (it has happened
before). Others will take significantly longer. To take some
of the stress out of this equation, and allow some of you to
have extended time in the lab, the final will be due at 9 am on
Tuesday the 24th. You will not be allowed to make any
modifications after that time. Everything for the final will be
submitted on Anvil per the instructions given in the README.mf
file.
