    <p><font face="serif">In less than a week we will have our first

        Computer Graphics class.  I use my own web server and web pages

        to administer much of the class, but we will be using CANVAS and

        Anvil for homework turn-in.</font></p>

    <p><font face="serif">While I will have the updated version of the

        syllabus online in a day or so, I wanted to make sure and let

        you know that you will want to have a copy of the textbook

        available.  Please be cautious, however, and get the same

        version of the text that is being sold by the bookstore.  There

        are international versions of the same edition and other

        editions that have very different problems.</font></p>
