Good evening and welcome back to campus! I wanted to take just a moment
to go over a few things related to your upcoming CSC 330 class.
1. We will have our first TOMORROW (Tuesday) at 11 am in Willet 212.
2. I am in the process of re-building all of my online content both on
my web server and on CANVAS. I will let you know when that becomes
available. Anything that you find online now pertained to prior
offerings of the class -- and is basically irrelevant. I will provide
you with a detailed syllabus in a digital format.
3. We will initially start the semester wearing masks in class and in
lab. I hate them. I will most likely remove mine to lecture just so
you can hear me better. I may ask you to remove yours when you ask
questions.
4. I have had great success over the last 18 months doing office hours
via Zoom appointments. I work in multiple offices and labs around the
University and city of Macon; Zoom makes meeting from any of these
locations very convenient. If you would like to meet via Zoom please
send a note to that effect to my Mercer e-mail (pounds_aj at mercer.edu)
and I will work to set something up as soon as possible.
See you in the morning!
