I will have to grade the group projects and review the repo and verify
that everyone in the group made commits to both the primary language as
well as the extra credit language, and that those commits made it into
the final version of the code prior to 11 am on Tuesday.

If that is the case then the intent is that the extra credit could count
for your final and you could skip the final.  I have no problem,
however, with you taking the final and also getting the extra credit.

Repo managers -- if you know that everyone did not contribute on the
main language and extra credit language then you need to let me know
privately via e-mail.  If you have submitted code for extra credit and
not everyone in the group contributed then it is an honor code violation
and the entire group will be charged.  If, however, you do report that
not everyone contributed, then it is not an honor code violation.  You
will not receive the extra credit, but I will grade the assigned
language accordingly.
