As we start to gear up for the massive "code conversion" I also want to 
ask that over the next ten days that you read the first five chapters in 
the /CodeCraft/ book and then read chapter 16.  Based on past comments, 
I think you will find these chapters enjoyable to read and they will 
also make you think about how you code. We will have an in-class 
discussion and an assignment related to the reading and discussion on 
September 28th.

I will have in-class assignments for you on both Tuesday and Thursday of 
this week.  I will introduce them (and give some hints on how to get 
them done) at the beginning of the hour, so please be in class on time.
