[CSC 335] Homework Extension

So about a third of the class has contacted me in the last six hours 
about an extension on the homework due to either technical issues 
(either real or perceived) with their own systems, cobra, a programming 
language, or a CAS.  I get that -- I've been there. According to the 
syllabus I take 33% per day late.   Since I know you all are working 
diligently (you have been communicating with me) I will suspend those 
rules for this time and reduce the late penalty.   I will assess a small 
penalty (20%,  5 points out of 25) for homework turned in on Monday -- 
but I must have whatever you have done by Monday.   My intent is to go 
over both HW 1 and HW 2 on Tuesday of next week in preparation for our 
test which I would like to schedule for next Thursday (9/24).

I am about a week behind with respect to content.  My plan is to start 
lecturing on chapter 3 today.
