The other day there was a question about the amount of memory on cobra
and if it was going to be possible to process the discrete Fourier
transform complex matrix to filter a file with 8192 points.

Using calls to the LAPACK library as demonstrated in the examples I sent
out, my Fortran code did this in around 23 seconds.  It required just
over a gigabyte of memory.
