I am sending along examples (one done in Fortran using LAPACK and one in
C using the GSL) of code needed to solve my second problem on homework
6. Both methods utilize the same type of methodology to solve the
problem of computing the inverse and multiplying the matrices together.
Feel free to use these to help you complete the homework problem -- it
is very enlightening.
to compile ztest.f on cobra:
gfortran ztest.f -llapack
to compile gslztest.c on cobra
gcc gslztest.c -lgsl -L /usr/lib64/atlas -latlas -lcblas
Also, both of these examples give you some indication of how to work
with complex numbers in Fortran/LAPACK and C/C++/GSL. As such they
should be a significant help in getting the second project done.
I hope to have the graded NMR projects ready by next Monday.
