[CSC 335] Anvil working again!

A big thanks to Jesse for fixing the problems with Anvil related to the
recent software update.   Everything seems to be working again.

This was a significant upgrade to the GitLab core program - so if you do
spot problems while using Anvil please let me or Jesse know.
