If you are on cobra it is pretty simple to send me an e-mail with
one or more attachments. At the command prompt type the following<br>
<br>
mail -a attachement.java <a class="moz-txt-link-abbreviated"
href="mailto:pounds_aj@mercer.edu">pounds_aj@mercer.edu</a><br>
<br>
You will then be prompted for a subject line. Once you enter that
you can enter your e-mail message. This is important -- you END the
message by hitting <CTRL>D. That is, you hold down the Ctrl
key on your keyboard while you hit the "d" key. Once you do this
you will see "EOT" (which stands for end of tape -- another way of
the program signifying that it has reached the end of its input) and
the message will be sent.<br>
<br>
If you want to send multiple attachments, just put additional "-a"
commands on the mail line. I just sent two programs to myself a
few minutes ago using the command...<br>
<br>
<br>
<b>cobra:~ %</b> mail -a master.f -a triangle.f <a
class="moz-txt-link-abbreviated"
href="mailto:pounds_aj@mercer.edu"><a class="moz-txt-link-abbreviated" href="mailto:pounds_aj@mercer.edu">pounds_aj@mercer.edu</a></a><br>
Subject: Testing attachments<br>
This is a test.<br>
EOT<br>

Since I am teaching multiple classes that are using cobra, please
make sure that you give me a descriptive subject line and also
please include your class (CSC 330, CSC 335, CSC 485, etc).<br>
<br>
You can obviously send e-mail to me from other locations using your
own email programs. I just wanted you all to know that this option
is available to you for things where you might be struggling with
code and need an easy way to send it to me.<br>
