possession of your graded exams and homeworks. You may pick them
up from her whenever she is at her desk in Computer Science.<br>

Several of you struggled with the last two problems on chapter 10
(multivariable optimization). I will post my Fortran example
(which should be pretty easy to "translate" to Java or C later
(assuming that you have a way to solve linear equations.) My
example is based off my notes and uses the Hessian matrix in the
solution.<br>

Out of curiosity -- many of you switched to matlab instead of
sticking with what you had already coded or used in chapter 6.
Why?<br>
