    <p>There were apparently some issues with CANVAS this weekend and

      some of you also reported difficulties accessing Mathematica.  For

      that reason I have extended the deadline for submission until

      Thursday of this week at midnight.   <br>

    <p>Also -- if you purchased the international edition of the text

      you are doing the wrong problems.  If you have questions about

      this, please reach out to me.<br>

    <p>We will start chapter 2 in class tomorrow.<br>
