<p><font face="serif">So I got home from a meeting last night to
find that my e-mail had blown up with requests for help on the
project. Questions related to filters, how to fit splines, how
to implement root finding with splines, how to format the
output, etc. I am very reluctant to extend the deadline because
I know of at least two students that are about 95% done with the
project - but I also don't want everyone else to get a poor
grade since project 2 depends on project 1 working.</font></p>
<p><font face="serif">I cannot emphasize enough how many of the
questions I got last night should have come to me WEEKS ago.
It's a lot to ask of me, at 11 pm on the night before the
project is due, to dive into multiple projects using multiple
languages with hundreds of lines of code to fix problems with
nebulous questions like "I'm now getting a seg fault -- can you
fix it for me." I have and will continue to help you work on
your code, I enjoy this, but please try to give me a little more
guidance and time to help address your questions. I REALLY
appreciate one of your colleagues that sent in images and plots
on Anvil to help clarify their questions.<br>

<p><font face="serif"><b>I will extend to project 1 deadline to
MONDAY NIGHT at midnight. The CANVAS dropbox will also lock
at that time.</b></font></p>
<p><font face="serif">If you do have code questions, please push
your code to Anvil and raise an issue for me to look at it with
a clear description of what you think the problem is and where
you think it is occurring in your code.</font></p>
