double precision floating point?</p>

<p>For this problem you can report where you no longer trust the
numbers --- and forget about the NAN because apparently that was
changed in the compiler.</p>

I couldn't get any NaN values from the code that you sent
out in the email, however the numbers did keep going until all
of the determinants were simply zero. Should I consider the
iteration number in which the determinant became 0 to be the
stopping point? I am just confused because a lot of the
calculated determinants are down to hundreds of decimal places
which doesn't really make sense for double precision values
(atleast I don't think so anyway.) I also made my own version of
the code and got the exact same results. </div>
