    <p>If you have noticed when you tried to clone from Anvil it would

      clone from the old address (anvil.cs.mercer.edu) and this

      information would get placed in the .git config.</p>

    <p>We reconfigured Anvil today so that it should now clone from the

      correct address (anvil.csc.mercer.edu).</p>

    <p>You will need to connect to anvil using HTTP (not HTTPS)

      protocols when you are working with the web IDE.  If you browser

      locks up during this process I recommend clearing your cache and

      then connecting to </p>

    <p>I verified that address now works in the CSC labs.</p>

    <p>clone, pull, merge, and push commands should all still use the

      ssh protocols with the new address (<a class="moz-txt-link-abbreviated" href="mailto:git@anvil.csc.mercer.edu">git@anvil.csc.mercer.edu</a>:...)</p>
