  Guys --
I spent a few minutes this afternoon with Brian Rood. I was
pretty much right on target with what he wanted. Here are a few
particulars.

   1. He really liked the idea of us starting out with a "dome" of
pollution and moving it based on the hourly wind data
   2. While he DOES NOT have specific information about the pollutants,
he is going to come up with some sort of value that will give us
the amount of pollutants produced per plane. One piece of data
you guys need to come up with is the average number of flights
leaving the airport each hour throughout the day. With this data
and the "amount of pollution per plane" we can make a good
approximation to how much pollutant is added to our system on an
      hourly basis.
   3. He tells me that we should be able to find some free GIS data. He
rattled off several sites during our meeting, but I don't remember
exactly them exactly. You guys might want to contact him about
this. He also said that if you wanted to use ArcGIS he would be
more than happy to show you how to use it.
