    <p><font face="serif">Class -- several of you have "University

        excused events" this Thursday and next Thursday.  As such I am

        designating tomorrow and next Thursday "work days" where you

        should plan to work with those members of your GOFD team that

        are present or you work on your projects.  I would like to

        re-hit lighting again next Tuesday and will try to have some

        examples for you to play with.   I will also be contacting each

        of you individually about what you might demo to the class for

        your simulation/visualization project.</font></p>
