The easiest way to test your dot product routines is to make a vector of
numbers 1, 2, 3 ... N and a second vector of numbers that is the inverse
of these, i.e. -- 1/1, 1/2, 1/3, ..., 1/N -- and multiply them together.
The dot product should equal the dimension of the vector.
