[CSC 435] Hammer Rebooted

Class -- the batch queues were not functioning this morning on hammer. 
I got the following message:

hammer:~ % qstat
Cannot connect to default server host 'hammer.cs.mercer.edu' - check
pbs_server daemon.
qstat: cannot connect to server hammer.cs.mercer.edu (errno=111)
Connection refused

So I had to reboot hammer and restart the batch queues.  This killed a
few running processes that were running outside of the batch queues, but
I also don't know how many of you tried using the batch queues on hammer
unsuccessfully.   Since you need this resource to accurately time your
dusty decks, I will allow you to have until Friday night to finish.  I
recommend that you get as much running in the queues as you can.   I
will be available during classtime to answer questions.
