Please make every attempt to be in class today as we will hopefully be
completing TWO of the MPI in-class exercises that set you up to start
the MPI-OpenMP assignment and also help prepare you for the final.
The extra credit assignment that some of you asked about is also now
open. However, you need to complete the GPU assignment (Massive
Parallel Coding on a GPU) that is due on Wednesday before you start to
tackle the extra credit.
Finally -- it has come to my attention that some of you are not seeing
the output files produced by PBS/Torque. This can be cause if you have
not logged into each system in the cluster using the fully qualified
domain name (FQDN). Try doing the following.
ssh gsc218-node-1.mercer.edu
you will probably get some notice about the key not being in the
authorized hosts file -- just answer yes and the login should go through
without you entering a password. Repeat this for all of the systems in
lab 218 and then also do it for the systems in GSC 405
ssh gsc405-node-01.mercer.edu
.
.
.
ssh gsc405-node-06.mercer.edu
